ITSD-DMH has an opening for a Data Analyst. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop complex data integration solutions that support DMH healthcare and billing applications as a member of an agile, well-organized team. This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Mental Health (DMH).

- Develop and maintain integration solutions platform to meet business needs for healthcare and billing solutions.
- Develop and support HL7 and EDI transactions, API solutions, and PowerShell scripts.
- Develop and support complex stored procedures and custom functions.
- Analyze, solve, and correct production issues and provide documentation.
- Communicate with business users to establish business project requirements.
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment using Agile methodology.
- Analyze, design, develop, peer review, test and implement code for projects.
- Create, adhere to and enforce technical standards.
The ideal candidate will have the following technical and soft skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of Information Technology experience with emphasis in Data Management or Data Integration.
- Development of BizTalk solutions a plus.
- SQL Server 2019/2022 preferred.
- SQL Server query and stored procedure development.
- Familiar with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
- Familiar with Azure DevOps and Agile development concepts.
- Strong data investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of development and design concepts with practical experience in the implementation of these concepts.
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment using Agile methodology.
- Experience with Visual Studio and source control is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and have the desire to continually develop new skills and improve existing skills.
- Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
