This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Mental Health (DMH).

- Build and support data integration solutions using multiple solutions such as BizTalk, SQL, Python, cloud, or other platforms to meet business needs for healthcare interoperability.
- Develop and support HL7, FHIR, and EDI transactions, API solutions, and PowerShell scripts.
- Develop and support stored procedures and functions.
- Analyze and correct production issues and provide documentation.
- Communicate with business users to establish business project requirements.
- Analyze, design, develop, peer review, test, and implement code for projects.
- Adhere to technical standards.
- SQL Server 2019 preferred.
- Prior experience with data integrations or interoperability tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR standards is a plus.
- SQL Server query and stored procedure development.
- Python development a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and Azure DevOps.
- Strong data investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment using Agile methodology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to continually develop new skills and improve existing skills.
- Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
