    We are recruiting to fill a Court Services Principal Management Analyst I position to perform advanced professional work in providing technical and administrative assistance to courts to ensure more efficient and effective operation of the courts. Work may also include conducting surveys of court personnel to determine compliance with program standards and enhance program quality, research and analyze program needs, formulate program plans, prepare drafts of program proposals, and/or assist in implementing program activities. Technical assistance may be provided onsite and in the office. This is a possible regional position.

    • Conducts workflow analysis to evaluate case processing procedures; identifies potential workflow problems and recommends changes in procedures to facilitate automation and improve the administration and operation of the courts.
    • Makes onsite court visits to review court processes and writes review documentation for issuance to circuit clerks and presiding judges.
    • Provides staff support to committees of judges assigned by the Supreme Court; provides technical assistance and makes recommendations to the committee regarding various court services.
    • Assist in the monitoring of legislative changes and implement new policy guidelines.


    Minimum qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management and 3 years of professional experience in a related field.

    Additional experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of modern court management.
    • Ability to analyze problems and needs and make effective recommendations.
    • Ability to use automated operating systems, Windows, word processing and spreadsheets.
    • Ability to travel to the courts to provide onsite technical and administrative assistance to court personnel (some positions require extensive overnight travel).
