What you will do: - Ensure the SIF Surcharge quarterly assessments are generated and available for entities to submit and maintain an internal spreadsheet of ledger balances, quarterly assessments, and payment details.
- Facilitate payment of assessments due by sending reminders and contacting external stakeholders.
- Review SIF Surcharge collections for accuracy of payment and revise quarterly assessments based on financial data received from DCI, SIU, or the external stakeholders.
- Perform audits on premiums reported by entities to DCI on their Missouri Premium Tax return vs to DWC on the quarterly SIF Surcharge assessments, analyze audit findings and present any discoveries of non-compliance or other discrepancies to the supervisor or manager.
- Review and process payment vouchers in the state accounting system for Line of Duty and Tort Victims’ Compensation Fund benefits along with SIF Benefits' account maintenance and payment processing.
- Maintain financial documentation in Division’s imaging system.
All you need for success: Qualifications - 4 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study
