Administrative Manager (Administrator) - Processing BureauDepartment of Revenue - Taxation Division Location: 301 W. HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: The Administrative Manager position provides leadership and management decisions for the Processing Bureau. This Lead management position will oversee approximately 83 full time employees and 150 tax season temporary employees, including two Manager level staff members. The Processing Bureau will process the vast majority of returns received by the Taxation Division, including sales/use tax returns, withholding tax returns, corporate income tax returns, individual income tax returns, property tax returns and registration applications. This position will also lead our payments and cashiering sections. Duties include: professionally developing direct and indirect reports, aggregating, arranging and displaying current and historical production data that will be used to drive decisions, continual improvement of our processes, reinforcing lean / six sigma values, transforming and building teams, embedding a strong sense of purpose in this group, and drafting and managing a budget for the Processing Bureau.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience in business, public service or law enforcement administration and knowledge of business administration, management and state government.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Extensive leadership and proven management skills and strategic planning of diverse and complex operations
- Ability to lead others to support and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace and ensure high quality customer service
- Ability to develop and lead process improvement projects through successful project management principles
- Ability to develop and utilize data to evaluate and measure performance and deliverables
- Knowledge of Missouri government budgeting process and Missouri state tax law
