- Managing operational and support divisions with a focus on long-term planning, performance goals, and efficiency.
- Supervising personnel through mentorship, oversight, and performance evaluations.
- Overseeing budgets, resource allocation, and program implementation to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Enhancing communication and coordination across divisions to drive innovation and resolve challenges.
- Representing the Sheriff’s Office in the community, on committees, and with government agencies.
- Leading strategic initiatives in public safety, emergency communications, business services, and community programs.
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, particularly in high-risk areas such as HR, public safety, and information management.
- Taking command of major incidents, including operational coordination and media communications.

- At least six (6) years of leadership experience at the executive level.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A track record of managing diverse functions and leading teams in high-compliance environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience overseeing budgets, planning, and operational functions.
- Knowledge of business administration principles.

- Six (6) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree with major work in police science, public or business administration, or a related field required. Equivalency is two (2) years of high-level experience equals one (1) year of college.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License within six months of hire required.
- Possession of Adult CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within six months of hire required.
