    Job Summary

    The incumbent serves as the OEC Office Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Equity & Compliance Analyst, the OEC Office Coordinator organizes, and coordinates services provided by the office as well as provides administrative support for the effective operation of the office.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Responsible for the administrative office support for office. Oversees and organizes day to day front and office operational needs.
    • Assists with scheduling meetings/interviews/trainings. Schedules investigatory interviews, meetings, and trainings. Participants for investigatory interviews may include respondents, union representatives, and advisors, including off campus representatives.
    • Assists the Analyst with the student and employee online trainings for Title IX, DHR, Clery, CANRA, etc.
    • Assists with the documentation, response, and tracking of authorizations.
    • Performs intake duties for employee, student and University third parties

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities

    Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft. Ability to provide ongoing excellent customer service, scheduling meetings, and managing phone lines. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work with individuals under emotional stress. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and vendors. Working knowledge of techniques, materials and equipment used in the production of instructional media and related communication assignments. Ability to set up and operate a wide variety of production equipment, including set-up for multi-camera video productions and distance learning classrooms.

    Ability to learn techniques in the development of television, film, radio or multimedia productions. Basic computer skills to operate digital and analog production-related editing and duplication equipment. Ability to use and maintain studio, camera and related equipment. Solid writing and editing skills, including a strong foundation in English grammar. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with staff and students.

    Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university’s commitment to a “vision of excellence.”

    Education and Experience
    • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and six months of related professional or technical experience required.

    Physical Summary

    Light work - Job involves some lifting of medium weight objects (10-20 pounds) and/or 10% - 20% of the job involves standing or walking.

    Compensation

    Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

    Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $3,844 - $4,333 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training

    CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $3,844 - $6,704 per month.

    Time Base

    1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.
