Children’s Division is looking for candidates to support the resource development recruitment and retention contracts through providing training and technical assistance, implementation and oversight of contracts, auditing related to state and federal measures, and serving as a state liaison with contractors.

- Serves as the contract liaison/expert, and primary contact for agency and contracted licensing staff: reviews and approves referrals, licenses, denials, and revocations; acts as the liaison between the contractor and Hearings Unit.
- Responsible for contract management and compliance: collects and analyzes data; produces internal and public-facing reports; conducts monthly vendor record case audits; receives and pays contract invoices; develops, amends, renews contracts as needed.
- Provides consultation and technical assistance to all levels of agency and contracted licensing staff; policy interpretation, complex case analysis for resource provider out of home investigations (OHI), safety plans, reviewing financial requests for special circumstances.
- Coordinates and facilitates necessary meetings with agency and contracted licensing staff.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT The operator of a motor vehicle is an essential function of this classification. Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle in the performance of assigned duties upon the date of hire and throughout employment.
Minimum Qualifications: - A High School Diploma or High School Equivalent and Eight or more years of professional or technical experience providing social services; or conducting investigations or audits of social service providers, recipients, and/or applicants
OR - Two or more years of experience as a Senior Social Services Specialist (CSSP).
OR - A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Substitutions allowed); and , Four or more years of professional or technical experience providing social services; or conducting investigations or audits of social service providers, recipients, and/or applicants.
(A combination of earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in the preferred fields such as social work, family and child development, special education, psychology, sociology, or related behavioral sciences and experience described may substitute for the stated qualifications. 30 credit hours are equivalent to 1 year of experience. Professional experience as described must be of a substantial period of time (over 50% of time)).
