Public Works Director

Palos Verdes Estates is looking for its next Public Works Director! A strategic thinker, an effective communicator and a collaborative leader, the ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills capable of managing multiple complex projects while maintaining strong relationships with city officials, consultants and the public. This individual will bring proven expertise in managing public infrastructure projects, overseeing contract administration, ensuring environmental compliance and creatively securing grants to maximize resources.

In this role, you will oversee and manage public infrastructure and municipal engineering services. Reporting directly to the City Manager, your leadership of the Public Works Department allows you to be a part of planning, coordinating and administering public works projects, among many other exciting opportunities.
