- Engage in fiscal duties for the Division including accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, and contract management.
- Assist FSU with tasks related to processes to ensure that the unit is operating efficiently.
- Assist in coordinating data for reports and responses to public inquiries.
- Review, approve, and monitor expenditures along with available authority.
- Prepare expenditure tracking reports to assist with fund tracking.
- Develop, prepare and/or maintain other financial reporting.
- Assist with state fiscal year budget setups in the State financial system.
- Assist in the preparation of the Division’s annual budget process, including any new supplemental or new decision item requests.
- Serve as a liaison with Division's programs for contract and procurement related inquiries
- Assist in the review and analysis of fiscal notes for potential financial impact to the Division.
Minimum Qualifications: - A Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college is preferred; comparable years of professional experience or education may be substituted.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency working in Excel.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Knowledge and experience with SAMII and Missouri Buys is preferred
- Critical thinking and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong desire to be an expert resource to division staff and leadership.
