    Job Announcement

    The City of Chandler is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Economic Development Program Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits.

    Who we are
    Economic Development employs development strategies focused on recruitment of new business, retention of existing business, and the expansion of the city's employment and tax base. Economic Development also encourages the redevelopment of Historic Downtown Chandler to create an urban core that makes a positive statement for Chandler. Building tourism in Chandler is another role for the Economic Development team.

    Who we are looking for
    Our new team member will serve as project manager for economic development and will provide research, marketing, program development and analysis, perform business recruitment, retention and entrepreneurial start-up efforts, represent the City of Chandler as a liaison in local and regional economic development activities and present oral and written reports to City departments, community groups and other agencies.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Economic Development, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or a related field
    • 4 years of experience in economic development, marketing or a related field
    • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
    • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
