    Duties Description

    Under the supervision of higher-level regional office staff, the incumbent at this location will:
    • Reconcile and verify P-Card transactions using SFS (Statewide Financial System).
    • Input P-Card transactions into BETS (Budget Expenditure Tracking System).
    • Reconcile multiple department funds in BETS and SFS.
    • Prepare documentation for Requisitions following all purchasing guidelines.
    • Process Direct Pays and Receiving Reports in SFS.
    • Maintain digital and physical files and assist with the Record Retention program, including retrieving files from
    storage and shredding old files.
    • Add new assets to Asset Cloud for the Administration Building and assist with the annual inventory audit.
    • Perform other clerical duties as needed to assist the Regional Business Office.
    • Use a variety of spreadsheets to track and monitor spending, reconcile various tracking systems, and investigate
    discrepancies.

    OPERATING NEEDS:
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that allows the candidate to legally operate a motor vehicle in New
    York State as a term and condition of employment.
    • High School or Equivalency Diploma, College Degree with coursework in accounting or auditing preferred but not
    required.
    • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
    • Must be able to analyze datasets to discover errors.
