What you'll do: - Plan and implement groups/activities to assist clients in their recovery/treatment - focusing on recreation/leisure, life, work, social, physical/wellness skills
- Serve as job coach to clients in the work therapy program
- Provide a safe/secure environment during client activities
- Observe client behavior, informing treatment team and document client progress/behavior in the Electronic Medical Record
- Plan and implement special events for assigned program
- Participate in program planning
- Maintain needed supplies and equipment
Minimum Qualifications - Possession of High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or the elderly population in one or more of the following areas: recreation, physical education, arts and crafts, horticulture, health and fitness, arts/expressive arts, music, or a closely related area.
