HIRING HOURLY: $15.00 - $17.98 APPLICATION PROCESS & DEADLINE: Submitted applications are reviewed by the hiring department, on a going basis, prior to the APPLICATION DEADLINE OF: Sunday, February 9, 2025 or sooner if position is filled. HIR Duties and Responsibilities Job functions include: * Answers telephone calls, receives and greets visitors to the building and provides information to or refers callers and visitors to the appropriate personnel.
* Gathers, assembles, updates, distributes, and/or files a variety of information, forms, records, and data as requested.
* Assists with set-up and clean up for events, presentations, in-services, and meetings at the ESB.
* Distributes incoming correspondence to the appropriate individuals.
* Responds to questions, comments, and requests in a courteous and timely manner.
* Provides excellent internal and external customer service.
* This is an essential position and required to participate in all departmental activations.
* Performs other duties or assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned.
Minimum QualificationsNon-Negotiables: * Must have a positive attitude, proven leadership experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate well to a diverse group of people.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Three to five years of administrative or clerical experience.
• Must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or possess an Employment Authorization Document (EAD)
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must have no felony convictions; misdemeanors will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Pass a background investigation which will include driving record, employment history, education, training verification, illegal conduct (drug use, etc.), and a reference check.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and psychological evaluation
• Be able to successfully complete Level IV CJIS Security Awareness Training and within 6 months of date of hire and maintain the certification.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 or obtain within 6 months of the date of hire
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Ability to learn and use various additional software applications required to complete the functions of the position.

* Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Word, etc.
