Limited Term Contract position available with the Housing/Federal Initiatives Division located at City Hall 414 E 12th St. Position is a two year contract with potential renewal
Salary Range: $33.43/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. *Episodic telework available at the Director's or City Manager's direction.

Responsibilities
- Oversees the operations and administration of HCDD loans, ensuring compliance with policies while addressing the needs of subrecipients
- Reviews, organizes, and determines the size, balance, and status of the entire HCDD loan portfolio.
- V erifies the completeness and accuracy of documents, maintaining physical, and electronic files and system inputs, performs calculations for authorization and distributions, and monitors delinquencies and payments.
- Conducts research on subrecipient and internal inquiries, providing appropriate responses or solutions.
- Works independently and within a team.
- Administers and maintains loan portfolios.
- Processes loan payments and advances.
- Maintains accurate and complete loan files, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Reviews annual financial statements and calculating loan payments.
- Responds to customer inquiries concerning loan accounts, resolves issues as needed.
- Performs loan servicing activities such as customer service, collections, and loan modifications.
- Creates payoff workout plans for Management Review and approval.
- Conducts loan audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identifies and resolving discrepancies in loan data.
- Ensures timely and accurate reporting of loan data to management.
- Assists with compliance monitoring.
Qualifications
REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree and 2 years of loan servicing experience; OR Associate's degree and 4 years of loan servicing experience; OR a combination of education and loan servicing experience of at least 6 years.
Preference given for 2-4 years experience and proficiency in multiple competencies, including accounting and/or development financing. Other Information

The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
