Job Location: This position will be located at the Ike Skelton Training Site, 2302 Militia Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
This position will serve as a contact for the Tuition Assistance Program within the Missouri National Guard. A high level of attention to detail will be very important in this role.- Processes accounts payable, monitors accounts and fund balances; ensures compliance with established procedures, principles, statutes and regulations.
- Accountable for a highly visible/high impact outcomes of the Tuition Assistance Program, which is visible to the Missouri Legislature, Governor, as well as many internal and external stakeholders.
- Assists in the preparations of the budget for the Program.
- Assist in the preparation, planning, development, and implementation of cost allocation plans, and assists in compiling, preparing, analyzing, and presenting detailed financial statements, reports and data.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelors Degree
- Three or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong oral and written communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently in assessing and managing priorities.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities; organized and detail oriented.
- Adaptable to change, deadlines, and working with teams.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, agency staff, and leadership.
- Experience with computers and desktop applications, including Microsoft Office products and Adobe.
