HR BUSINESS PARTNERDepartment: Human ResourcesPay Grade: 111FLSA Status: Non-ExemptPersonnel Status: Regular Full-Time JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for facilitating the needs of employees regarding recruitment, onboarding, benefits, pay, performance tracking, offboarding, and retirement for the Human Resources Department. This position reports to the HR Business Partner Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Processes monthly and bi-weekly payrolls.
- Performs recruitment and screening duties.
- Performs employee relations duties.
- Processes Onboarding and Offboarding procedures and functions.
- Reviews employee performance evaluations.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; one (1) to two (2) years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Qualifications: - Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of City policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of insurance and benefits programs and requirements.
- Knowledge of payroll procedures.
- Knowledge of human resource management.
- Knowledge of recruitment, selection and employment practices and procedures.
