What you’ll do: This position is responsible for processing all Supported Community Living invoices, adjustments, and collect financial information for the clients. Investigate and set rates according to the Standard Means Test. File Interim Assistant Reimbursement for Supported Community Living consumers and follow up with Social Security. Maintain the Welfare Program Budget ensuring funds are handled appropriately and according to hospital guidelines. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of excellent communication, planning, organization skills and the ability to problem solve and work independently.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: In addition to the minimum qualifications listed below a successful candidate should have the knowledge of research methods related to Insurance billing and the ability to identify and resolve billing issues. Team member should demonstrate excellent communication, planning, organization skills and the ability to problem solve.
Minimum Qualifications: - Must have satisfactory performance, no written reprimands within the past 6 months, and no other disciplinary actions during the past 12 months.
- Adheres to the safety and security policies for the hospital.
- Embraces the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and shows respect daily.
Preferred Qualifications: - Working knowledge of CIMOR, Claim Builder, ICM, MoHealth net and the DDE system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Access a must.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
