Finance Director
City of Elk Grove, California
Reporting directly to the Assistant City Manager, the City seeks a qualified finance professional with extensive experience in public sector finance to join the Executive Team. The next Finance Director will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish good working relationships throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with extensive technical knowledge and experience in financial planning, cash management, investments, audits, special sales taxes, and infrastructure financing. They excel at distilling complex financial information into clear, accessible presentations to the City Council and diverse audiences. This leader fosters trust by leaning into collaboration and empowering their highly skilled team to perform their best. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, is essential for success in this role.

The salary range for this outstanding opportunity is $178,045 - $238,613, with a salary adjustment expected in July 2025.
