This position will be located at the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, in our Air and Land Unit located at 2155 N. Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.
Duration of Assignment: May 2024 - August 2024
- Update the Water Protection Program’s electronic databases for drinking water and wastewater system inventories
- Provide lab assistance
- Update Material Safety Data records
- Assist with drinking water and wastewater field inspections, water and wastewater sampling, and special projects
- Assist in various areas of the Engineering Unit
- Obtain GPS coordinates
- Contact facilities to promote upcoming trainings and DNR projects
- Undergraduate or Graduate in a science major
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
- Ability to meet and interact with the public in a professional manner
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, bending, work in outside environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
