The Program Specialist provides coordination and tracking of workforce development initiatives, assists in the development of administrative processes, analyses for continuous process improvement, planning, and contributes to constitutionally required reports and other division-wide projects.- Assists the OOS on continuous process improvement evaluation efforts
- Collaborate with leadership to support professional development and mentor training opportunities.
- Assist the Program Coordinator in leading the compilation of the division’s annual report to the Governor
- Coordinates and/is responsible for aligning the division’s strategic plan with the department’s strategic plan,
- Ensures that there is a process for onboard training of new hires and professional development of staff
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate experience developing data-driven policy and/or evidence-based program management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with DCR staff and internal and external partners.
- Experience in a state government and/or regulatory environment preferred.
- Knowledge in strategic and other planning processes.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously;
- Ability to manage time and projects to ensure deadlines are achieved;
