- A minimum of two years of experience in recreation programming or facility management.
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
- A valid Texas Class C driver's license is required.
- Successful completion of an MVR check is required.
Any combination of relevant experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge and skills is acceptable, including equivalent experience in place of a degree.
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Manager, works in partnership with other employees, departments/divisions, external entities and the public to deliver effective and innovative recreation services. The Employee assists in supervision and implementation of recreational, social, educational programs and activities for citizens, recruitment and assisting with events, seek sponsorship and partnership opportunities. This is a single position classification. It is not part of a series.
