Pay: $111, 961.68
Examples of Work - Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the Home consistent with the Veterans Administration rules and regulations and Missouri Veterans Commission (MVC) standards
- Organize functions of the facility through appropriate departmentalization
- Implement and control effective utilization of the physical plant and financial resources of the facility, including annual and as needed operating budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with Veterans Administration regulations and Interpretative Guidelines; Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 38; Revised Statutes of Missouri, Chapter 42 inclusive; and MVC Homes Program Administrative policies
- Create and nurture a participatory management culture where team members are empowered to perform at their highest level
- Serve as senior official over the Home’s Quality Management program, including Key Factors review
- Provide effective public relations to internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the supervision, recruitment, retention, performance management, discipline, and feedback to staff
- File with the Missouri Ethics Commission within 30 days of employment and annually thereafter
Qualifications - Possession of Licensure as Nursing Home Administrator issued by the Missouri Board of Nursing Home Administrators
AND - One year of experience as an Administrator in a Long - Term Care Facility
OR - Three or more years of experience as a Department Manager in a Long-Term Care Facility
