What you’ll do: - Structures the content of training presented in New Employee Orientation to include a trauma informed lens
- Provides New Employee Orientation for all new employees
- Develops, delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of all training, including situation management and physical intervention training
- Coordinates all presentations and training delivered to new hires in different disciplines
- Assists Executive Team in identifying staff training needs across disciplines
- Works collaboratively with Program Leadership across disciplines to identify program-specific training, development, or in-service needs.
- Responsible for learning and participating in all Staff Development training processes.
- Shares a rotating training schedule with other Staff Development Trainers.
- Provides on-going employee training and support to assigned FSH program.
- Provides occasional staff support and coverage in living areas.
- Seeks to innovate the staff training process in coordination with Assistant Director.
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Staff Development or Director of Human Resources.
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Education, Business or Public Administration, the social sciences, or a closely related field
OR - One or more years of professional or technical experience in a business, governmental, or military setting, where the primary duties involved formal classroom training, training course design and development, and/or curriculum planning; professional teaching experience at the high school level or above; and/or educational administration involving responsibility for curriculum planning and the supervision of teaching staff.
Preferred Qualifications - One or more years of experience as a Staff Development Trainer with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System.
- Two or more years of professional supervisory experience with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System.
