  • Job Description

    The Missouri National Guard employs approximately 430 state employees whose responsibilities are to support the Missouri National Guard in their day-to-day operations and ensure their readiness for any mission.     J o b L o ca ti on:

    Thi s pos ition w ill be l o c at ed a t the Ike Skelton Training Site, Kiefner Building, 2302 Militia Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri. State Resources Human Resources is responsible for providing support to the Missouri National Guard.

    • Receive, process, and approve all payroll (timekeeping) documents in SAMII HR. File away documents when payroll is complete.

    • Receive all FMLA request and send approval to employee.

    • Receive all worker’s compensation claims and process in RESTORE.

    • Process requests for new hires, which includes conducting background checks, typing letter of approval for HR Managers signature, and sending approval letter back to the appropriate program.

    • Enter new employees into SAMII HR and SEBES, process I-9’s through E-Verify and send direct deposit information to OA.

    • Creating electronic employee personnel file, updating with new correspondence.

    • Run MOBIUS reports after each payroll, enter details in excel spreadsheets, and distribute to programs.

    • Check MOSER’s and MCHCP error reports and fix errors as they arise.

    • Process employee terminations in SAMII HR, MCHCP, and MOSER’s. Enter annual leave and compensatory time payouts.

    • Assist employees with questions, either on the phone, through email, or in person.

    • Process SED (State Emergency Duty) or SAD (State Active Duty) payroll for soldiers called to duty by the Governor.

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years relevant Experience. Substitutions may be allowed.

    • Experience in SAM II HR and MOBIUS.

    • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Working knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources.
