OverviewLarimer County Community Corrections is looking for a new member of their case management team!
This person will provide support to the case management unit, such as providing caseload coverage, psychoeducational group coverage, and assisting with other case management duties as needed.
This entry-level position will provide excellent training and experience for those interested in utilizing evidence-based practice to assist criminal justice-involved individuals in transitioning back into our community.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be Doing:
- Supervising clients directly to ensure their safety, accountability, and progress within the program.
- Leading case management meetings to address case plan goals and focus on criminogenic needs.
- Facilitating psychoeducational groups designed to support client growth within inpatient treatment programs.
- Providing transportation for clients to appointments, events, and other engagements as needed.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records in client files to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
- Completing referrals to connect clients with community programs and resources that align with their needs.
- Conducting home visits with a fellow staff member to assess living conditions and provide support.

- Experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, in social or behavioral sciences, Criminal Justice, or related fields required. Related education or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, CPR and First Aid certifications by date of hire required.
- Maintain continuing education hours annually or as required.
- Transportation Units Only: Defensive Driving Training Certification required.

Supplemental InformationThis is a part-time temporary position with 20-29 hours per week. This posting is for the Community Justice Alternatives and will be used to fill current vacancies and create an eligibility list for future openings. Successful candidates may be placed in either the Larimer County Community Corrections Department or the Alternative Sentencing Department based on organizational needs.
This position may include some work on the weekends and evenings.
