    This position will be located at the St. Louis Regional Office: 7545 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63125.

    • Data entry and data management related to wastewater and stormwater monitoring results.
    • Provide guidance to permittees and coworkers on regulatory compliance.
    • Generate reporting due date reminders and follow-up with non-compliant facilities.
    • Review monitoring data and report submittal noncompliance lists.
    • Prepare reports for management review.
    • Manage St. Louis Regional Office water pollution control files and reports.
    • Provide data query, laboratory, sampling, and field observation support for inspections and investigations.
    • Other duties as assigned, including conducting compliance inspections, and investigating environmental emergencies in the field such as sanitary sewer overflows and fish kills.


    To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills:

    • Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail
    • Computer Skills: Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work
    • Environmental Science: Knowledge of the concepts, principles, theories, and methods to protect and improve the quality of the environment and its resources; and to monitor, control, abate, and prevent pollutants.


    Equivalent to those typically gained by:

    • A bachelor's degree and 0-4 years’ experience in regulatory, environmental, or public service fields.


    (Additional education or experience may substitute for the required education or experience)
