JOB SUMMARY The Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual
for the position of:
Senior Accountant Hiring Salary Range: $66,691 - $78,460 Retirement Benefits (TMRS), 2-to-1 Match

- Five (5) years of accounting or municipal accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant for the State of Texas and/or governmental fund accounting experience, preferred.
Under limited direction, the Senior Accountant manages and provides skilled accounting work for capital projects, grants, capital assets, escrow, developer agreement, Vehicle Equipment Replacement Fund (VERF) and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) funds. Provides daily financial oversight to ensure that the financial records are complete, accurate, and comply with polices and procedures. This position also serves as the backup for the Towns accounts payable and payroll functions. May provide supervision to one or more employees.
