Location: This position will be located at the Harry S. Truman State Office building 301 W. High St. Jefferson City, MO 65101.
The Division of Personnel is looking for an experienced and organized Administrative Assistant to work with a team of talent management and human resources professionals.

This position will be a part of the OA Temporary Staffing Pool which means there is opportunity to serve the citizens of Missouri through part-time, short-term, and/or temporary to permanent positions. Pay is based on assignment with a minimum of $16.83 hourly. - Engage with the divisions stakeholders on a daily basis promoting a quality customer experience each day.
- Greet visitors and answer telephone calls in a professional, helpful manner, determine purpose of visits and calls, furnish necessary information, take and relay messages.
- Support the Division’s teams in scheduling, drafting correspondence, researching information and related administrative tasks.
- Provide general administrative support for the division.
- Other duties that may be assigned.

- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must work independently and work well in a team environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
