Why you’ll love this position: This is a reimagined position in upper management at MO HealthNet.As the Business Systems Manager, you will contribute to MO HealthNet’s mission to build a best-in-class Medicaid program that addresses the needs of Missouri’s most vulnerable population in a way that is financially sustainable. Specifically, this position leads the team that is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the Medicaid Enterprise System, which is a network of several technology solutions. The team applies their analytical, project management, research, and technology skills to implement new projects and to keep existing programs running smoothly.

- Oversee the team responsible for maintenance and operations of the various modules within the Medicaid Enterprise system. Lead, motivate, and coach team members.
- Strategically identify, analyze, and improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and guidance issued from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) related to healthcare initiatives.
- Oversee processes and practices designed to protect patient information.
- Assist with contract development and management, including ensuring contractors adhere to contractual obligations.
- Participate in internal, statewide, and national workgroups, oversight boards, and steering committees.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of professional experience preferably in Medicaid, social services, and/or healthcare.

- Ability to think independently and use creative problem-solving strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, both orally and in writing
- Ability to self-organize and prioritize work in an ever-changing environment
- Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma, The Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs
