Job Location: This position will be located at 8800 E. 63 rd Street, 6 th floor Raytown, MO 64133. This position will also have a telecommuting/distributed work option available. Regular daytime travel within the state of Missouri will be required.

You will be a trusted professional who will train and support individuals and businesses who are providing food to the recipients of these USDA programs. In addition, you will assess compliance to the requirements of these programs by conducting monitoring reviews. You will also serve as a nutrition consultant to administrators, public health agencies, and program participants. - Monitor for contract compliance with federal and state regulations, report non-compliance, provide follow-up evaluation, and make recommendations or corrections.
- Exercise significant independence and initiative in the performance of all job responsibilities to include program monitoring and technical assistance.
- Conduct in-person and online trainings and review all training manuals and materials for these programs.
- Coordinate with program management staff on review findings, training needs, and scheduling issues.
- Serve as a nutrition consultant in an area of nutrition specialty to administrative and program staff relative to nutritional needs and services.
- Complete program monitoring paperwork, correspondence, and scheduling in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Three or more years of professional experience as a nutritionist is required.
- A valid drivers license is required.
