Job Summary Salary: $15.00 per hr
Job Description: Performs semi-skilled manual work involving event preparation, changeover, and general maintenance of the Kia Center. Employees assigned to this classification perform a wide variety of tasks requiring knowledge of the regulations/specifications of the various sports, and involves the use of independent judgment and initiative, above-average physical effort, operation of power tools and equipment, the ability to work without constant supervision once tasks are learned, and may include lead worker responsibilities. Work is performed under moderate supervision of a Crew Leader or Facility Superintendent, and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to sports regulations and/or specifications.
Minimum Qualifications: Entertainment Facility Worker I :
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. One (1) year general maintenance experience required; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required.
Entertainment Facility Worker II:
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Two (2) years general maintenance experience required , or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. A valid Florida Driver's License is required.
THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED. If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
