Regulatory Auditor Supervisor Department of Revenue Location: St. Louis, MO

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: This is a professional supervisory position accountable for overseeing the inspections, investigations, or audits in which employees may require professional licensure and experience in the professions or businesses regulated. At this level, employees may function as a programmatic, regional, or statewide supervisor. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires team members to have the knowledge and skills to perform the work overseen.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective supervision and training.
• Ability to provide leadership and supervision to professional and technical staff.
• Knowledge of state and federal law, policy, procedures, codes, rules and regulations of the assigned program.
• Knowledge of the objectives, standards, operations, and practices of assigned programs.
• Knowledge of interviewing and investigative techniques.
• Ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable statutes, rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to compile, present, and interpret reports and related data.
• Ability to travel extensively, operate a motor vehicle, and maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
