    Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

    The Home Visiting programs, and Safe Cribs for Missouri Program within the Office of Childhood provide voluntary, high quality, early childhood home visiting services and access to other resources free of charge to Missouri residents, to provide the opportunity for children to grow up healthy, safe, ready to learn, and for their families to have the ability to be active participants in this journey.

    • Provide programmatic oversight for a designated number of school districts implementing the parent education home visiting program.
    • Conduct programmatic collection and interpretation of program data to support the performance of the assigned parent education home visiting programs.
    • Process, approve, and track invoices from assigned parent education home visiting programs.
    • Provide technical assistance, training, and monitoring to assigned parent education home visiting programs.
    • Coordinate services with other home visiting programs within the Office of Childhood.
    • Maintain familiarity with Parents as Teachers National Center trainings, resources, and national model programming.
    • Collaborate with the Missouri Parent Education Program Support and the Missouri Parents as Teachers Association (MOPATA) to support parent education home visiting.
    • Coordinate professional development, training, and resource opportunities through contracted providers.
    • Assist with the development, facilitation, and implementation of continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
    • Prepare reports, training materials, and other documents as needed.
    • Perform and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
    • Communicate and express ideas effectively, orally, and in writing.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Department staff and other state and local agencies.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of effective training facilitation and evaluation methods.
    • Operate audio-visual aids and other equipment commonly used in presentations.
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
    • Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in early childhood, education, communications, human development, family studies, or other related area.


    OR

    • Four or more years of professional or technical experience in social/human services or elementary/early childhood education.
