    Community & Recreation Services Director

    City of Union City, CA

Imagine the impact you could have as the leader in community wellness, engagement, and recreation in one of the Bay Area’s most inclusive and vibrant cities. The City of Union City is looking for a visionary and motivated professional to step into the role of Community & Recreation Services Director. In this position, you will be at the forefront of innovative, award-winning programs and services that support recreation, arts, culture, youth services, homelessness support, and more, all aimed at improving lives and strengthening the social fabric of Union City.

You bring fresh ideas, are expert at building connections with diverse stakeholders, and can navigate the complexities of managing staff, budgets, and long-term planning. You will help drive the department’s mission while supporting vital community resources like a senior center, swim complex, and youth services programs.
