Why you’ll love this position:The Regulatory Auditor is a first-level professional position within Missouri’s Division of Cannabis Regulation, which was established to implement the recently passed Amendment 3 to Article XIV of the Missouri Constitution. Reporting directly to the Senior Regulatory Auditor will act as the front line of the facility application services team, and aid in ensuring requirements of the new law are fully realized. This position will exercise adaptability, discernment and significant independence while also collaborating across the Section. This is an exciting opportunity to implement an important initiative from the ground-up in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Processing facility applications and communicating with applicants and general inquiries about the program. Includes semi-regular call center duties, specific to facility applicant types and/or as program needs require
- Works with unit supervisor to implement standard policy and procedures in alignment with current rule and law; identifies opportunities for program development through handling daily workload; providing feedback from both daily workload and intake of public inquiries to inform supervisory staff.
- Follows set SMART goals to measure progress; consistently follows set standards
- Work in a collaborative team environment, within new section unit division continues to grow and develop.
- Cross-trained to support individual licensing application unit as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors degree, and 0-1 years relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed).
- Working knowledge of rules and law; ability to accurately convey department interpretations to facility applicants and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage changes while maintaining accuracy and achieving results.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with the public and other partners while maintaining a high-level of service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependability and accountability demonstrated through consistent attendance and performance.
