    Job Location: Jefferson City, MO

    Why you’ll love this position:

This role involves working in the computer operations room to carry out daily and nightly processing tasks that supply vital information to various applications used by employees at the Missouri Lottery. This is a fast-paced environment, so it is crucial that the individual in this role can work within strict time constraints and prioritize attention to detail.

This position will be required to perform morning and evening processing jobs, process local and national lottery game drawings, create trouble tickets for applications, balance multiple systems nightly, maintain production sheets and forms, ensure that the reports and forms are properly organized and filed, verify vendor game closings, and enter required data into our Vendor's CGS. When needed this position will be required to help test new games and systems that are being implemented at Missouri Lottery as well as help with building and wiping of computer equipment.

This position will have an alternating Monday through Friday weekly schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Due to scheduling challenges and coverage, this position may occasionally have to work on holidays, weekends, or an alternate shift of 3:30 p.m. to midnight.

    Minimum Qualifications:

An Associate's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in computer science or computer information technology is a plus but not required. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for deficiencies in the required education.

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

The State of Missouri offers an excellent benefits package that includes a defined pension plan, generous amounts of leave and holiday time, and eligibility for health insurance coverage.
