Education and/or Equivalent Experience: - Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of experience in a field related to public health/human services programming, planning or program management, one (1) year of which was in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Master’s degree may substitute for one (1) year of the required work experience.
- Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum substitution of four (4) years

Position Overview
The Public Health Program Supervisor will supervise five persons including three Disease Surveillance Specialists and two Patient Representatives. In addition to supervising direct reports, they will also be responsible for ensuring the front desk runs smoothly, billing information is kept up to date, ECW is accurate, billing is processed quickly and eSHARES are entered timely.

Immunization Requirement:- Due to high-risk areas, Austin Public Health employees must comply with the department’s immunization policy.
Travel:- If you are selected for this position, and meet the Driver Safety Standards in the City of Austin Driver Safety Program, you may drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
