- Perform asset functions relating to inventory control which includes tracking physical inventory, disposal of fixed assets and other items, and assisting with annual inventory reports.
- Ensure that the monthly phone bills are received and reviewed in a timely manner. Monitor and track usage of devices to ensure data plans are being utilized for the most savings. Review payment details to ensure funds are being appropriately distributed and charged for services.
- Provide procurement assistance to central office as well as the regional offices. (i.e. vendor verification, contract review, supply/equipment purchase for SAMII/MissouriBuys entry).
- Communicate with vendors on an as needed basis to ensure continuity of procurement processes.
- Be able to interpret contracts and contact vendors to obtain price quotations as well as investigate and process claims for merchandise purchases and returns.
- Assist central office and regional staff in the preparation of specifications for supplies and equipment.
- Be able to work extensively with SAMII/MissouriBuys system functions.
- The employee needs to be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
- The employee will perform other work as assigned.
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and office methods and practices. Abililty to make mathematic calculations. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to review financial documents for accuracy with attention to detail. Skill in using financial systems.
- 3-5 years of relative experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
