This position will be located at Mastodon State Historic Site, 1050 Charles J Becker Dr., Imperial, MO 63052. Regular schedule will be 16 hours per week from 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Days worked will be Saturdays and Sundays with one weekend off per month. This position has the ability to include more shifts in the Spring and Summer seasons. This is a seasonal park aide/maintenance position with the expectation of working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
This position is eligible to work a maximum of 1,000 hours per 12 month period.- Empty trash containers and clean and sanitize restrooms and vault toilets.
- Perform routine grounds and building maintenance.
- Provide information to visitors in person and on the phone.
- Prep and clean organized group camps and maintenance uptake.
- Perform weed eating and mowing as needed throughout the park.
Perform routine maintenance on mowers and power equipment.
