This position is responsible for the direct management/monitoring of Discharged Lifetime Supervision clients on GPS. - Daily utilization of agency computer systems and BI TotalAccess.
- Coordination with EM vender and District offices for the installation, inspection and repair of GPS equipment throughout the state.
- Investigation of potential violations and preparation of Violation Reports and Early Discharge Reports.
- Communication and coordination with field and institutional staff, law enforcement and prosecuting attorneys, including, but not limited to, investigative purposes and providing testimony regarding GPS non-compliance in criminal proceedings.
Minimum Qualifications: Four or more years of vocational or higher level experience is required in social services, probation and parole, corrections casework or custody, guidance and counseling, education, psychology, sociology, mental health, substance abuse, law enforcement, or experience closely related to the above listed responsibilities;
AND possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license.
(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience, at a rate of 30 credit hours for one year)
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:High level abilities in the following areas are essential: professionalism, customer service, prioritization, organization, verbal/written communication and time management. Knowledge of Department computer systems and computer peripherals is preferred, and Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES) certification will be required. Experience with BI TotalAccess, GPS supervision and knowledge of sex offender restrictions and requirements is preferred.
All requested documents MUST be received by the closing date listed. Some positions are eligible for a shift differential of $173.34 semi-monthly, which is provided to employees with shifts that begin on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am, and who work at a 24/7 worksite (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center), or whose work requires regular visits to these locations. If selected for interview, eligibility may be discussed at that time with the hiring manager.
