Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Three (3) years or more of experience with Information Technology, specifically in a user support capacity.
- General public customer service experience is preferred Technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) is preferred.
Provides high quality customer service and second level help desk support. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving help desk requests and acting as an escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved at level one. Manages issues by identification, prioritization, resolution, escalation, referral, and follow-up via the help desk work order system. Creates and maintains a climate of continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities for service improvements and internal efficiencies.
