    This position may be filled at one of two levels based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. The entry salary is posted above, and a senior starting salary of $41,685.12.

    Job Location: Central Office, 105 West Capitol Avenue, Jefferson City, MO

    The financial services technician provides routine administrative and paraprofessional support in financial services functions such as processing accounts receivable, accounts payable, benefits administration, payroll, consumable inventories, capital/fixed assets, internal billings, and time (payroll) and equipment reporting, including resolving routine issues and questions with a moderate degree of independence. Complex questions and nonstandard issues are referred to the appropriate personnel. Responsibilities are performed under moderate supervision.

    What you’ll do:

    • Analyzes project information (location, type of work, etc.) to determine eligibility of federal funds.
    • Creates financial documents for federally funded programs utilizing Microsoft Excel and state and federal financial management systems (FACS, FMIS, SAMII, DELPHI, TRAMS, etc.).
    • Ensures timely and accurate review and processing of financial documents.
    • Coordinates with MoDOT Divisions and Districts to deliver federally funded programs.

    • High School Diploma or GED/HiSET


    Special Working Conditions:

    • Job may require occasional, statewide, overnight travel.
    • Hybrid telework option may be considered after successful completion of probation period. Full-time telework is not available.
