OverviewDo you have at least one year of experience taking customer payments and providing excellent customer service? The Treasurer and Public Trustee's Office is hiring a Treasurer's Technician to join our team!
We are a small office that prides itself on providing outstanding customer service, and as a Treasurer's Technician you will be the first person to greet the taxpayers who come into our office. You will also answer taxpayer questions and take payments. The typical schedule for this position will be 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday at our office in charming, Old Town, Fort Collins!

ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, this position:
- Receives and processes payments via cash and credit cards.
- Balances cash drawer daily.
- Answers taxpayer questions and researches answers as needed.
- Prepares and processes certificates of taxes due.
- Prepares and processes manufactured home and associated moving permits.

- Have previous experience handling cash and balancing cash drawers
- Have customer service experience and exhibit excellent customer service skills
- Be proficient using Microsoft Office suite.
- Have timely and regular attendance.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
QualificationsAll candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
- One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities within a Treasurer's Office.
- High School diploma or GED required supplemented by basic bookkeeping courses.
