    Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, enthusiastic and inclusive staff member to join our Operations Division as a Records Management Technician!

    The Records Management Technician primarily scans, inputs and indexes records and performs data entry.

    The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. This is a hybrid position that allows working from home, and requires at least one day per week in the office. In office work will primarily be located at 1501 Blue Spruce drive, but could be located at any Human Service office location, as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Specifically this position:
    • Receives departmental documentation for scanning production.
    • Inputs documents into the imaging system by scanning and indexing departmental documents according to established imaging procedures.
    • Performs data entry of a variety of index fields associated with each document class type.
    • Ensures documents are clear and indexed properly by performing standard quality assurance and quality control processes for scanning and indexing.
    • Maintains records of production activity by; document type, record series, and/or equipment readings.
    • Assists with record retention standards and preparation of documents for imaging.
    • Explains and assists departmental liaisons with preparation of necessary documentation to submit for an imaging project.
    • Attends internal or divisional staff meetings as required.
    • Enters cases into records management system and generates documentation as necessary.

    Qualifications

    All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.

    The Records Management Technician is hired as an Administrative Specialist. This position could be hired as an Administrative Specialist I or II depending on qualifications.

    Administrative Specialist I
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required.

    Administrative Specialist II
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • One (1) year experience as an Administrative Specialist I or two (2) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required.
