Information Systems Technician Series (Service Mgmt)

This position may be filled at one of the three levels based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. The entry salary is posted above, with the Intermediate starting salary of $41,685.12, and a Senior starting salary of $48,621.60.

The information systems technician provides entry-level administrative and technical IT support, assists end users, and manages user accounts and access. Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision.

What you’ll do:

• Create accounts and user IDs in Active Directory for new employees and maintain data in our employee information database
• Grant access for users to network and applications, remove and change access as necessary, maintain employee access records in our access tracking system
• Communicate with end users via the phone, email and in person to resolve Tier 1 issues
• Install and uninstall software
• Maintain software license compliance information and reconcile differences
