OverviewLarimer County Community Corrections is looking for a new member of their case management team!
This person will provide support to the case management unit, such as providing caseload coverage, psychoeducational group coverage, and assisting with other case management duties as needed.
This entry-level position will provide excellent training and experience for those interested in utilizing evidence-based practice to assist criminal justice-involved individuals in transitioning back into our community.
ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, this position:
- Exercises direct supervision over clients.
- Conducts case management meetings focused on case plan goals and criminogenic needs.
- Facilitates psychoeducational groups for clients in our inpatient treatment programs.
- Transports clients to appointments and events.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation in client files.
- Completes referrals for clients to programs and resources in the community.
- Conducting home visits alongside another staff member.

We are looking for a candidate that will:
- Be organized and dependable.
- Be capable of managing tasks and duties independently.
- Apply the practices and techniques of counseling and interviewing.
- Use record-keeping and reporting procedures.
QualificationsAll candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
- Experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, in social or behavioral sciences, Criminal Justice, or related fields required. Related education or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, CPR and First Aid certifications by date of hire required.
- Maintain continuing education hours annually or as required.
- Transportation Units Only: Defensive Driving Training Certification required.

Supplemental InformationThis is a part-time temporary position with 20-29 hours per week.
This position may include some work on the weekends and evenings.
