    Customer Service Manager (Field Coordinator) Region 3 - License Office Bureau (LOB)

    Department of Revenue

    Location: Remote (LOB: Truman Building - 301 West High Street, Jefferson City, MO)

    (Must reside within the counties listed below or neighboring counties)

    Travel is approximately 81%-90%

    Annual Salary: $ 45,330.00- $50,109.00

    HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    Customer Service Managers partner with other bureaus within MVDL to help train and educate the license office staff around the state. Team Members work in an exciting, fast paced environment that will utilize your technical expertise and professional skills.

    DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    • Provide technical assistance and training to Motor Vehicle Driver License contract license offices and License Office staff on procedures and transactional processing.
    • Conduct inspections of license office general operations to ensure licensing transactions, procedures and money are handled according to established procedures.
    • Monitor license office contractual requirements for compliance.
    • Overnight stays will be required occasionally, possibly several nights in a row.
    • Routinely travel to approximately 13 contract license offices located in Cooper, Moniteau, Carroll, Cole, Boone, Howard, Callaway, Chariton, Saline, Audrain, and Randolph.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5-7 years of relevant customer service experience and 2-4 years of supervisory experience.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Motor Vehicle/Marine titling and registration policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Driver License policies and procedures.
    • Professional or technical experience in a license office.
    • Considerable knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective management, supervision and organization.
    • Working knowledge and understanding of license office operations.
    • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and when speaking.
    • Work collaboratively with contractors, DOR team members, and the citizens of Missouri.
    • Able to assess, evaluate and appropriately coach License Office staff.
