The Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division is seeking an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams and individuals. This team member will be responsible for day-to-day research and communication to obtain software for 15 consolidated state agencies.
This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting Fiscal and Administration (F&A).

- Review and process requests in the ITSD Service Desk (Cherwell) application.
- Assign license keys to shared drives for CES technicians.
- Run software reports daily, and review ticket requests and vendor quotes to update the software tracking database.
- Assist with other software tracking reports.• Opening and responding to all ITSDSoftware emails.
- Maintain tickets within Cherwell, review tickets for license availability, send tickets to appropriate unit.
- Negotiate licensing terms on enterprise license agreements.
- Work with agencies on licensing needs.
- Download software and keys to the repository.
- Audit software tracker and reports prepared by others on the software team.
- Audit license utilization to ensure usage and installation levels are within the terms of related licensing agreements. Work with ITSD functional areas and agencies to remedy when they are not in compliance.
- Spend time researching software-product, prices and compatibility - and recommend most cost effective options to meet business needs.
- SSRS, Coreview and Lansweeper entries to ensure accurate data and counts of software agencies own.
- Maintain tickets within ITSD Service Desk (Cherwell) application. Review tickets for license availability, send tickets to appropriate unit, ensure keys are received and saved to the proper location.
- Opening and responding to all ITSDSoftware emails.
- Review SSRS, Coreview and Lansweeper entries to ensure accurate data and counts of software agencies own.
- Run reports for agencies to determine software installations and best utilization of software assignments.
- Assist with other software tracking reports.
- Attend meetings and training when needed.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, exceptional attention to detail, be able to prioritize workload, be able to research independently, and provide excellent customer service.
