Job Summary: Installs and maintains traffic control signs and markings on City streets and Department locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement is required
Essential Functions: - Delivers and picks up road closure signs and devices; assists with setting up closures.
- Installs, repairs and replaces street signs according to assigned work orders.
- Places and burns thermoplastic for street markings; operates water truck and striping truck to paint street lines.
- Operates lift truck for installing overhead signs.
- May assist in fabricating signs.
- May be required to respond afterhours, including holidays and weekends, in the event of a departmental or City-wide emergency.
